Soothing ‘Cool Muscle Rub’: A Love Story of Pain Relief
The cool muscle rub is undeniably an outstanding recovery tool. Being a bit of a fitness freak, I’ve always loved the pumped up feeling from a good workout. Yet, as I get older, post-workout aches seem to cling a bit longer than usual: upper back, shoulders, hips, lower back, and hamstrings.
I also work from home often, and that means long hours of sitting at my desk, which also makes my muscles stiff. Stretching and moving throughout the day brings some relief, but it’s the cool rub that I really feel makes the difference. It honestly just makes life a little (lot) more comfortable for me. The soothing cool sensation is a welcome change as most rubs just provide heat, or nothing at all.

I have three jars of the cool rub stashed in strategic locations. One n my room for post-shower application, another in my car for those on-the-go instances, and a third on my desk for quick breaks during work.

It makes a smoother, more effective massage and we are always in a battle to see who gets the nightly foot massage.
